By ohtadmin on February 02, The Village Board will consider a law that would mirror legislation now on the table at Aurora Town Hall prohibiting sex offenders from living near schools, playgrounds, daycare centers and other places in which young children congregate. The Town Board this month will consider the law that would prohibit anyone convicted of a sexual offense against from living within 1, feet of a school, park, playground or daycare center.
The Town Board at its work session on Mon. In New York State, registered sex offenders are required to tell authorities where they live. Only details of the most severe cases are revealed to the public.
